Latest weather prediction for May 24th football tournament

The latest report from the Estonian weather forecast website www.ilm.ee predict +29c and possible lightning for Saturday, May 24th this week. Please be reminded to bring along sun lotion, a hat to cover head, possibly a small garden roof to stadium for your team to cover yourself from sun and lots of liquid to stay away from dehydration. Lunch food will be offered for all players free of charge. A possibility to buy extra food and drinks is offered by our partner Amps Catering.

Captains’ meeting at A le Coq stadium on May 14, 2014

This year’s captains’ meeting will take place at  A. le Coq Arena on May 14 at 6pm. Traditionally the captains of each team have a pre-tournament meeting in order to go through the rules of the game, update with recent information and remind the necessities. This year we are glad to also inform that a special meeting is included to the event: meeting with the Estonian national football team’s coach Mr Magnus Pehrsson. International Chambers of Commerce’s Football Tournament 2014 powered by Danske Bank takes place in Maarjamäe

The International Chambers of Commerce’s Football Tournament 2014 powered by Danske Bank will take place on FC Levadia’s home stadium at Maarjamäe. The stadium is situated in East Tallinn, in Pirita, has a view to the Tallinn bay and is surrounded by old trees, which makes the surrounding look very attractive during football season.

On Monday the match plan was decided

The tournament’s game plan was decided at the travellers’ pub Seiklusjutte Maalt ja Merelt where captains of the participating teams met. Captains agreed upon the game plan and recalled the rules from previous years. These are the rules that the referees will follow at the stadium on Saturday, May 25th.

***Deadline for teams’ lists is getting close

May 13th is the date when all organizations (chambers, business clubs) enrolled with the tournament are expected to send their team members’ lists to merli.lindberg@decc.ee This is according to what was agreed at the last captains’ and chamber managers’ meeting on March 27. All lists will need to include names along with company names and e-mail addresses. According to the agreed rules no player can be under 18 years of age, maximum 4 players from one company is allowed per one team, no team member can be listed in the first 2 Estonian Football leagues.
